Irit Kohavi

Irit Graduated with honors from the the School of Architecture and Town Planning in The Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa (1978) and continued her studies in Computer Aided Design at the Department of Architecture, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA (1987).

Prior to founding Irit Kohavi Architects in Tel Aviv in 2010, Irit Kohavi was a Principal Architect and Managing Partner at Moshe Safdie Architects for more than 20 years. As Principal Architect at MSA Kohavi headed the professional team design of large scale national projects Including the Airside Terminal 3 at Ben-Gurion International Airport; the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum Campus; Azrieli Modi’in Town Center; Mammilla commercial complex in Jerusalem; Mamilla hotel, David citadel Hotel, David Royal Residence, Mammilla Residential quarter David village, and is collaborating with Moshe Safdie Architects on various projects to date.

Irit participates in steering committees and professional juries, lectures at Architecture conventions and in the academy.
